 Naseej Academy organize “Knowledge Management Utilization in Realizing Saudi Vision 2030” Forum

Naseej Academy organize the forum entitled “Knowledge Management Utilization in Realizing Saudi Vision 2030.” to be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at Four Seasons Hotel, Riyadh, KSA.

 The event brings together library leaders, and heads of departments of strategic planning from various Saudi ministries, who share their insights, ideas and expertise on knowledge management, and especially institutional knowledge management, with a view to accelerating implementation of the National Transformation Program’s initiatives and to fulfilling the Vision’s strategic objectives.

​The forum allows to have full updates on the latest trends and best practices, through one-to-one contact with the following academic and industry experts:

Prof. Dr. Mohammad J. Arif (Moderator)
  • Professor Chairman – Department of Information Science, Faculty of Art & Humanities, King Abdulaziz University. 
  • Consultant in Knowledge Management at Efadah Management Consulting.

Mr. Scott Leeb (Speaker)
  • Senior Engagement Director with Iknow LLC, a leading management consulting firm that specializes in knowledge management. 
  • He has spoken around the world on a wide range of topics.
  • Over the past 15 years, he has created, managed and grown the global knowledge management programs at four Fortune 500 companies worldwide.

Dr. Hosam Rowaihy (Speaker)
  • Director of the Knowledge Center at the Center for Strategic Development (CSD).   
  • He is a former Associate Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). 
  • He has assumed a number of administrative positions at KFUPM, most recently as head of the Information Technology and Communication Center.

Mr. David Gurteen (Speaker)
  • David Gurteen is a well-known writer, thinker, public speaker and conversational facilitator.
  • He has facilitated hundreds of Knowledge Cafés and workshops in over 30 countries. He is best known as the creator of the Gurteen Knowledge Café – a conversational process that brings together a group of people to learn from each other and make better sense of a rapidly changing world. 
  • He is the founder of the Gurteen Knowledge Community, a global network of more than 23,000 people in over 160 countries.

The forum will conclude with a Knowledge Café.
